The discussion revolves around compensation for part of the salary and the single social contribution (SSC).
Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced the launch of the “Point of Support” program, which aims to help businesses affected by shelling retain their employees.

According to the Prime Minister, the program will be available for enterprises that have had to halt operations due to shelling or are currently recovering from damage.
Such employers will be able to receive compensation for part of their employees’ salaries during the forced work stoppage. Additionally, the state will also compensate the single social contribution on these payments.
“The program will help businesses retain their teams during the most challenging period, recover, and continue operating. And for people, it will help maintain their jobs, income, and insurance record,” Svyrydenko summarized.
Recall that starting in April, several important changes will take place in Ukraine’s social, medical, and educational sectors. In particular, the pensions of some working retirees will be automatically recalculated, nearly 13 million Ukrainians will receive a one-time payment of 1500 hryvnias, and employees in extracurricular education will have the opportunity for higher salaries.
Moreover, the “Affordable Medicines” program will be expanded with new drugs, modern methods for detecting tuberculosis will begin to be implemented in medicine, and veterans will be able to apply for the next stage of the “Veteran Sports” program.
