President of “Los Blancos” Florentino Perez personally insists on the comeback of a legend
Real Madrid is preparing for a grand return of one of its greatest stars. Toni Kroos, who retired from professional football in the summer of 2024, could once again become part of the “Royal” club as early as next season.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the Spanish publication AS.

A new role for the “Maestro”
According to journalists, this is not about Kroos returning to the pitch as a player, although the 36-year-old German is in excellent physical shape. Real Madrid aims to integrate Toni into the club’s sporting structure.
The initiator of this decision was none other than the president of the Madrid club, Florentino Perez. He is convinced that Kroos’s daily influence and understanding of the game will be crucial for the development of the younger generation and will assist the coaching staff.
Why Perez insists on the return
The relationship between Kroos and Perez has always been described as exemplary. The club president believes that the German has left a void that cannot be filled solely by transfers.
Toni has already begun sharing his experience by launching his own football academy in Madrid. In recent weeks, he has visited Real’s training base twice with his youth team, which has only fueled rumors about his new position.
What is known about his future role in the club
Currently, Kroos’s specific position is not officially disclosed. Options are being discussed ranging from working in the coaching staff to managerial roles in the sports department. However, as sources note, the decision regarding his return has effectively already been made by both parties.
Toni’s family has fully adapted to life in Madrid, and the footballer has repeatedly hinted that his heart will always belong to “Los Blancos.”
