Trump Threatens to Bomb Iran Again

U.S. President Donald Trump predicted that Iran would return to the negotiating table, as the country “has no cards.”

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing Fox News.

“I predict they will come back and give us everything we want… I don’t want 90% of the demands, I don’t want 95%… I want everything… They have no cards,” Trump stated.

He also defended his threat made a week ago that “an entire civilization will perish tonight and never be reborn.” This refers to the ultimatum with a deadline for Tehran to open the Strait of Hormuz. According to Trump, this statement is what compelled Iran to sit at the negotiating table and remain there until now.

It is worth noting that nearly a full day of negotiations between the U.S. and Iran in Pakistan ended without an agreement. Against this backdrop, Trump reiterated on Fox News the threats made prior to the negotiations, stating that he would strike Iran’s energy infrastructure.

“I could destroy Iran in one day. In one hour, I could take all their energy, all their power plants, and that’s very important. And I really don’t want to do that because if I do, it will take 10 years to recover, and they will never be able to fully recover. And you will also lose bridges,” the president said.

U.S.-Iran Negotiations End in Failure

Recall that on April 11 and the night of April 12, negotiations took place in Pakistan between the U.S. and Iran. Following these talks, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance stated that the parties did not reach an agreement to end the war.

Just a couple of hours ago, Donald Trump claimed that the meeting went well and most issues were agreed upon. However, as he stated, Iran’s refusal to abandon its nuclear ambitions negates all of this.

In addition, Trump announced that the U.S. Navy is beginning to block the Strait of Hormuz. Now, according to him, no ship will be able to enter or exit from there.
