As of 1:00 PM, the turnout was already 54.14%, which is approximately 4,075,272 votes. The previous figure at 11:00 AM was 37.98%.

Telex notes that today’s data at 1:00 PM is already higher than it was at 3:00 PM during the 2022 elections. At that time, the turnout was 52.8%.

According to RBC-Ukraine’s correspondent, the largest influx of voters was in the morning, and now there are fewer people at the polling stations. Lines for voting are virtually non-existent.

Where Hungarians are voting the most

Let us emphasize once again that today’s voter turnout is record-breaking. In particular, in the districts voting for the “Tisa” party of Peter Madjar – the opponent of the current Prime Minister and head of the “Fidesz” party, Viktor Orban.

As Telex writes, as of 1:00 PM, the highest turnout was recorded in the 5th, 2nd, and 15th electoral districts of Pest County.

The publication provides data that in the 5th electoral district, centered around the cities of Dunakeszi and Göd, 43.81% had voted by 1:00 PM in 2022 (however, Telex does not specify the current turnout).

In the 2nd district, centered around the city of Budaörs, where the candidates from “Fidesz” are Gergely Csuha and from “Tisa” is the party’s operational director Gábor Pócsfai – currently, 61.16% of Hungarians have voted. Four years ago, the turnout here was 44.09%.

The media also provides data from the 15th electoral district of Budapest, where the “Fidesz” party nominated Monika Dunai, and the “Tisa” party nominated Áron Porcher. Here, the turnout by 1:00 PM has already exceeded 60%, although in 2022 at the same time, the turnout was 42.25%.

Elections in Hungary

Recall that the media recently reported that ahead of the parliamentary elections in Hungary, Russia launched a large-scale disinformation campaign to support Prime Minister Viktor Orban and discredit the opposition.

At the same time, Russian media reported that the Kremlin anticipates a defeat for the “Fidesz” party. In this regard, Russia is preparing the ground to blame the Hungarian team for any possible failure.

We also reported that recently, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance came to support Orban. During one of the rallies, he called U.S. President Donald Trump, who confessed his “love” for Orban.

Just a few days after that, Trump posted a message promising Hungary economic prosperity if the country continues to be led by Orban.
