On the left bank of the capital, utility workers are beginning to prepare networks for the next winter.
Residents of five residential areas on the left bank of Kyiv have been warned about a temporary lack of hot water supply.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a publication from the press service of the Dnipro District State Administration in Kyiv on Facebook.

Where exactly in Kyiv there will be no hot water
The Dnipro District State Administration reported (referring to KP “Kyivteploenergo”) that next week hydraulic tests of the heating networks will begin on the left bank of the capital.
As a result, hot water will be temporarily unavailable in the heating supply zones of CHPP-6 and the district boiler house (RK) “Voskresenka” in the residential areas:
- “Raduzhny”;
- “Kibalchicha”;
- “Voskresenka”;
- “Severo-Brovarskiy”;
- “Kulikovo Pole”.
When hot water will disappear and reappear

According to KP “Kyivteploenergo”, the hydraulic tests of the heating networks will last for two weeks:
- from 8:00 AM April 15, 2026;
- until 12:00 AM April 29, 2026.
It is worth noting that KP “Kyivteploenergo” provides heating and hot water to almost all of Kyiv.
The municipal enterprise includes:
- two largest heat and power plants in Ukraine – CHPP-5 and CHPP-6;
- four heating supply stations – ST-1 and ST-2, “Belichi” and “Poznyaki”;
- forty-two district boiler houses;
- a branched conglomerate of main and distribution heating networks with a length of 2,700 km;
- the only operational waste incineration plant in Ukraine, “Energia”.
Recall that Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported back in late February that the capital’s utility services are already preparing for the next heating season, working on options for restoring damaged infrastructure and creating alternative sources of heat and energy supply.
Meanwhile, the Cabinet of Ministers has estimated the preparation for the new heating season in Ukraine at 278 billion hryvnias.
