What is known about Spears’ treatment
According to the singer’s representative, she sought help on her own.
The treatment began a few weeks before a court hearing in California, where the 44-year-old star is set to appear due to charges of driving under the influence.
After her arrest on March 4, the artist’s representative called the incident “absolutely unacceptable.”
At that time, he stated that her loved ones would “develop a long-overdue plan to ensure her success and well-being.”

Why Britney Spears was arrested
According to the California Highway Patrol, last month law enforcement was informed that the singer was allegedly driving her BMW erratically at high speed on the highway.
After the stop, authorities claim that Spears showed signs of impaired functioning, after which she underwent a series of field sobriety tests.
Later, her representative told the BBC that Britney “intends to take the right steps and obey the law,” expressing hope that this would be “the first step towards long-overdue changes that need to happen in Britney’s life.”
He also added that he hopes the singer “will be able to receive the necessary help and support during this difficult time.”
The representative emphasized that “her boys will spend time with her,” and her family will help her through this period.
By the way, Britney Spears is one of the most famous pop stars in the world. She rose to fame with hits like “Baby One More Time,” “Toxic,” “Everytime,” “Gimme More,” “Womanizer,” and “Stronger.”

From 2008 to 2021, the artist was under conservatorship, during which her finances and personal life were controlled by her father.
He explained this by stating that her life was “in ruins, and she was in a physically, emotionally, mentally, and financially troubled state.”
At the same time, the singer’s father claimed that the conservatorship helped her regain stability.
According to him, “thanks to the conservatorship, Britney was able to return to a path of stability at all these stages of her life,” and later it was “time for her to take control of her life again.”
