Where is it more profitable to buy currency today?
The dollar exchange rate in Ukrainian exchange offices rose slightly on April 14, while banks are experiencing a slight decrease in currency prices for buyers. Meanwhile, the euro remains stable and has hardly changed in price.

- Exchange offices have slightly raised rates: Unlike banks, exchange points have slightly increased the dollar price – the purchase rate rose by 1 kopeck (43.65 UAH).
- Banks are lowering prices for buyers: In bank cashiers, the opposite trend is observed – the average purchase rate of the dollar fell by 2 kopecks (43.73 UAH), while the euro decreased by 5 kopecks (51.20 UAH).
- Where is it more profitable: Today, it is more advantageous to buy currency in exchange offices (average rate 43.65 UAH compared to banks’ 43.73 UAH) or through online applications of major banks (for example, in “PUMB” or Oschadbank for 43.70 UAH).
Currency exchange rates in exchange offices
Today, the average dollar exchange rate in exchange offices is fixed at 43.65 UAH (+1 kopeck) for purchase, while selling currency can be done for 43.50 UAH (+5 kopecks). For comparison, just yesterday, April 13, the figures were 43.64 UAH and 43.45 UAH respectively.
As for the euro, its price has not changed over the past day. In exchange offices, the European currency is offered for an average of 51.15 UAH for purchase, and it can be sold for 50.90 UAH. These figures fully correspond to the data from the previous day, indicating a temporary lull in the euro’s dynamics.

Currency exchange rates in banks
Unlike exchange offices, there is a slight decrease in currency prices for buyers in bank cashiers.
The average purchase price of the dollar in bank cashiers today is 43.73 UAH, which is 2 kopecks less (-2 kopecks) than yesterday morning. Meanwhile, the rate at which financial institutions accept American currency from the public remains unchanged at 43.25 UAH.
A similar situation is observed with the euro. Today, the European currency can be purchased in banks for an average of 51.20 UAH, indicating a decrease of 5 kopecks (-5 kopecks) compared to April 13. The rate for selling euros remains at yesterday’s level – 50.60 UAH.
PrivatBank on April 14 sells the dollar in branches for 43.80 UAH, and for cashless transactions – for 43.86 UAH. The euro can be purchased in the bank’s cashiers for 51.60 UAH, and for cards – 51.54 UAH.
Oschadbank sells the dollar in its mobile application for 43.70 UAH, while for card transactions the rate is 43.85 UAH. The euro in the application is available for 51.30 UAH, and for card payments – 51.45 UAH.
“PUMB” sells the dollar in cashiers for 43.90 UAH, and for cashless transactions – for 43.70 UAH. The euro in the bank’s cashiers today costs 51.30 UAH, while online it can be purchased for 51.10 UAH.
Monobank has set the dollar selling rate at 43.85 UAH, and sells the euro for 51.50 UAH.
