Suno has a serious competitor: a new app for creating AI music has emerged.

Popular neural network learns to generate entire albums

ElevenMusic – capabilities and limits

The new app from ElevenLabs allows users to generate songs using natural language text prompts. Users can customize the track’s duration, the presence of vocals, and specify its stylistic elements.

Main features of the app

  • Generation: create up to 7 free songs per day;
  • Remixes: the ability to edit tracks from other users using text;
  • Streaming: access to charts, “Trending Now” playlists, and daily mood mixes (Focus, Energy, Chill, etc.);
  • Radio stations: access to live stations and pre-formed albums.

For professional users, ElevenLabs offers a Pro plan for $9.99 per month or $95.9 per year. The subscription allows the creation of up to 500 tracks monthly. Additionally, subscribers receive 500 GB of cloud storage.

ElevenLabs’ strategy

The launch of the music app indicates the company’s intention to expand beyond just voice models. ElevenLabs aims to create an ecosystem of creative tools to protect itself from the mainstream audio model market.

The startup, which was valued at $11 billion in February, is actively working to attract an even larger customer base.

Previously, the company launched the ElevenReader service for listening to books, as well as tools for voice cloning. Additionally, developers plan to implement royalties for authors who create popular content on the platform.
