Ukrainian grace left no chances for competitors in the all-around and qualified for all finals

Ukrainian rhythmic gymnast Taisia Onofriychuk continues to conquer the world podiums. At the second stage of the Grand Prix series 2026, held in Marbella, Spain, the 17-year-old athlete achieved a confident victory in the individual all-around.

Golden double of the season

This is Onofriychuk’s second consecutive success this season. Following her triumphant performance at the first stage in Tartu, Estonia, Taisia confirmed her status as a favorite on the Spanish mat. With a total score of 115.500 points across four routines (hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon), the Ukrainian outperformed her closest rival, Takmina Ikromova from Uzbekistan, by a solid 2.800 points. The “bronze” went to Polish gymnast Liliana Lewinska.

Taisia Onofriychuk’s results in the all-around:

  • Hoop: 29.950 points
  • Ball: 29.300
  • Ribbon: 28.650
  • Clubs: 27.600

Total domination and reaching the finals

Thanks to her high scores in the all-around, Onofriychuk qualified for the finals in all four individual events. Moreover, in the routines with hoop, ball, and ribbon, the Ukrainian grace showed the best results among all participants.

It is worth noting that another Ukrainian, Polina Karika, also made it into the top 10 of the all-around, finishing in seventh place (108.950 points) and will also compete for medals in the ball final.

When will the finals take place

The decisive performances in the individual events will take place on Sunday, March 22. The top 8 gymnasts will compete in each final.
