Besides a roof over your head, you can earn at least 22,000 in salary
The State Employment Service offers Ukrainians numerous job vacancies with free housing. A decent salary is offered to both military and civilian specialists.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the press service of the SES.

How many housing vacancies are available to Ukrainians
According to information from the State Employment Service, in the first quarter of 2026, Ukrainian employers offered job seekers (through the SES) 1,500 vacancies with the possibility of providing housing.
“If we consider the offers from partners among job search services, then The Unified Job Portal has almost 4,000 such offers,” the SES explained to Ukrainians.
It is specified that almost half of the housing vacancies submitted by the Employment Service since the beginning of the year have already been filled.
At the same time, new offers are added daily. Therefore, as of April, more than 800 such vacancies are available on the Unified Job Portal of the SES.
In which regions are there the most vacancies
It is reported that in the first quarter of this year, housing vacancies appeared most actively:
- in Kyiv – 260;
- in Kyiv region – 200.
Additionally, a large number of job offers with housing were available:
- in Lviv region – 150;
- in Dnipropetrovsk region – 144.
Who is currently offering the highest salaries
The SES reported that the highest salary levels for such vacancies – from 65,000 to 125,000 hryvnias – are currently offered by the Defense Forces.
At the same time, there are many civilian job offers on the market, as employers are looking for:
- doctors;
- drivers;
- nurses;
- cooks.
The salary for civilian vacancies ranges from 22,000 to 50,000 hryvnias.
Among them, the following specialists are also mentioned:
- installer;
- repair technician;
- pharmacist;
- loader;
- tractor driver;
- technical director;
- worker for comprehensive agricultural production maintenance;
- confectioner.

In conclusion, the State Employment Service reported that information about such offers in a specific region can be found online.
To do this, one can use the Unified Job Portal.
It is specified that in the search, you need to add the option “Vacancies with housing,” after which you can select the offer that suits you.
Another option for finding the most suitable vacancy:
- contact the nearest employment center;
- inquire about housing vacancies in person.
