What to do if a woman was mistakenly registered and received a fine in “Reserve+”?
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine promises to remove women who were mistakenly registered from military records by the end of April. The Ministry of Defense also explained what to do if a woman receives a fine notification in “Reserve+”.

“Women who are not subject to military registration but were mistakenly included in the ‘Oberih’ register will be removed by the end of April,” the statement said.
It is also emphasized that the issue is specific rather than widespread. If a woman who was mistakenly registered receives a fine notification in the “Reserve+” app, it “does not constitute administrative liability and has no legal consequences.”
The Ministry of Defense recommends that upon receiving such a “fine,” one should contact:
- the number 1545 – this is the government hotline;
- or the number 1512 – this is the Ministry of Defense hotline;
- or submit an inquiry through the “1545” app.
“Errors are already being corrected, and all cases will be resolved by the end of April,” the Ministry of Defense added.
The scandal over military registration for women
Recall that the scandal began when one of the citizens of Ukraine complained that she was accidentally placed on military records without the appropriate education. Following this, a service investigation was conducted.
During the investigation, it was established that erroneous data had been entered into the “Oberih” system back in 2021. An additional check also revealed a number of similar cases related to the formation of separate entries in the system. However, the Ground Forces noted that correcting such information through the appropriate TCC and SP is currently impossible due to a lack of technical capability.
At the same time, the Ground Forces assured that they are not preparing for the mobilization of women and are not developing any mechanisms for this. On April 10, Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov put an end to the scandal: he noted that it all started with a technical error from the Kharkiv TCC. Now, everything necessary is being done to prevent similar incidents in the future.
