In NABU, the names of the accused are mentioned, but the circumstances of the case point to the leader of “Batkivshchyna”
NABU and SAP have completed the pre-trial investigation into the case of the head of one of the parliamentary factions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. She is suspected of bribing deputies.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.

It should be noted that the Bureau did not disclose the name of the accused, but the materials of the case clearly indicate that it concerns the leader of the “Batkivshchyna” party, Yulia Tymoshenko.
The investigation established that in December of last year, the suspect began negotiating with certain parliamentarians about a reward system for loyal votes.
This involved a stable mechanism of cooperation with advance payments. The elected representatives were to follow instructions on voting (“for” or “against”), abstaining, or not participating.
In January 2026, the head of the parliamentary faction was informed of the suspicion.
What is known about the Tymoshenko case
The criminal proceedings against the leader of “Batkivshchyna,” Yulia Tymoshenko, began in January 2026 and have been accompanied by sensational events from the very start. On January 14, NABU and SAP announced the suspicion against her.
In response, Tymoshenko called the searches in her office a “PR move” and a “political order.”
On January 16, the High Anti-Corruption Court chose a preventive measure for Tymoshenko in the form of bail exceeding 33 million hryvnias, which was immediately paid on her behalf.
Previously, the politician herself stated that her accounts were blocked, preventing her from paying the bail, and she described the case as politically motivated.
On January 21, the court allowed the arrest of Tymoshenko’s property seized during the searches, as well as property registered in her husband’s name.
At the same time, the arrest of $6,300 seized during the NABU search was lifted, and these funds were returned to the people’s deputy.
