How to check your branch’s schedule for the holiday?
In the pre-holiday rush, it’s easy to forget that post offices may operate on a changed schedule. It’s better to plan your time to avoid closed doors and unnecessary queues.

Will Nova Poshta be open on Easter
According to the published schedule, during the Easter period, “Nova Poshta” will operate as follows:
- on Saturday, April 11 – in regular mode;
- on Sunday, April 12 – in shortened hours (from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM);
- on Monday, April 13 – in regular mode.
“Save this to manage your shipments on time,” the company advised its customers.

How to check the schedule of a specific branch
You can familiarize yourself with the schedule of a specific branch (check its operating hours on the day you need) by:
- either in the Nova Poshta mobile app;
- or on the official “Nova Poshta” website.
For example, in Kyiv, most branches operate:
- from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM – on weekdays;
- from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM – on Saturday and Sunday.
Will Ukrainians have an additional day off
According to the Labor Code (KZot), Easter in Ukraine is a major religious holiday.
In peacetime, Bright Resurrection Sunday would automatically provide Ukrainians with an additional day off on Monday. However, due to martial law, the norms regarding holidays and non-working days have temporarily changed.
Additional days off during wartime are not mandatory and are not transferred to weekdays. Therefore, there will be no official day off on the Monday after Easter in Ukraine in 2026.
At the same time, in the private sector, the final decision on the work schedule remains with the management (private companies may choose to give their employees that day off).
