When will the April sun finally defeat winter?
The coming days in Ukraine will be challenging – with nighttime frosts, wet snow, and cold winds. However, a warming trend is already visible on the horizon.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a post by meteorologist and forecaster Natalka Didenko on Facebook.

On April 10, according to the specialist, cold weather will persist in Ukraine.
At the same time, “the coming night is expected to be chilly” – from 1 to 6 degrees Celsius. In some places – frosts of 0-3°C.
Didenko noted that during the day, it will be “not much warmer” in most regions of Ukraine.
“Maximum +3+7 degrees. In the southern part and southeast +7+11 degrees,” the forecaster specified.
Winds are expected to be from the north or northwest, moderate.
“Sometimes – with strong gusts,” the specialist warned.
Rain and locally – wet snow are likely tomorrow:
- in the northern regions;
- in the central regions;
- in Kharkiv region.
A slightly “warmer” rain:
- in the southern part of Ukraine;
- in Luhansk region;
- in Donetsk region;
- in Dnipropetrovsk region.
“In the western regions – without significant precipitation,” Didenko added.
What weather is expected on April 10 in Kyiv
In Kyiv, according to the expert’s information, rain with wet snow is expected on Friday.
Air temperature:
- at night +1+3 degrees Celsius (on the outskirts – frosts of 0-3°C);
- during the day – around +5 degrees Celsius.

Will the weather change for the Easter weekend
On Saturday, April 11, the synoptic situation in Ukraine (according to Didenko) will be “without significant changes.”
The next day – on Easter (Sunday, April 12) – rain is expected almost everywhere in Ukraine, “periodically – rain, periodically – clearings.”
“On Easter night +2+5 degrees, there is still a chance of frosts (if not covered by clouds). And during the day on April 12, it will modestly warm up, +7+11, on the Left Bank +8+14 degrees,” the forecaster explained.
When might warming come to Ukraine
Warming in Ukraine, according to Didenko, will “become bolder” next week – from Tuesday-Wednesday (April 14-15).
“Don’t be sad about the cold, about power outages, or anything that hasn’t happened yet. Look to spring – no matter what happens, it always comes,” the specialist concluded.
