Housing work in Ukraine: who receives up to 50,000 hryvnias and where the most job vacancies are.

The highest-paying professions with free housing named

In February 2026, the job market with housing in Ukraine showed mixed dynamics: salaries increased, but the number of offers and responses decreased.

This is reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing data from OLX Job.

How the market has changed: salaries and demand

Analysts noted that in February 2026, the median salary for positions with housing was 30,000 hryvnias (up from 25,000 hryvnias in February 2025). Despite the increase in pay, there is a noticeable decline in activity:

  • number of vacancies – 8,464 offers, which is 6% less than last year.
  • level of demand – the number of responses from candidates decreased by 26%.

The most significant salary growth is observed in manufacturing, logistics, construction, and retail.

TOP vacancies with accommodation

The list of sectors with the most offers remains stable. These are primarily blue-collar, logistics, and service professions.

Median salaries by positions (February 2026):

  • builder – 50,000 hryvnias (+11%);
  • driver – 42,500 hryvnias (+16%);
  • auto mechanic – 42,500 hryvnias (no change);
  • manufacturing/blue-collar jobs – 32,500 hryvnias (+18%);
  • laborer (construction) – 29,000 hryvnias (+16%);
  • loader – 28,200 hryvnias (+18%);
  • salesperson – 25,400 hryvnias (+21%).

The lowest payments in this category are offered to nurses (15,400 hryvnias) and security guards (15,300 hryvnias).

Regional distribution

The leader in the number of offers by a significant margin remains Kiev region (3,346 vacancies). Employers here are willing to pay an average of 31,500 hryvnias (+15%).

Statistics for other leading regions:

  • Lviv region – 583 vacancies, salary 32,500 hryvnias;
  • Ivano-Frankivsk region – 278 vacancies, salary 31,300 hryvnias;
  • Odesa region – 448 vacancies, salary 27,500 hryvnias;
  • Dnipropetrovsk region – 747 vacancies, salary 26,000 hryvnias.

The highest salary growth was recorded in Cherkasy (+35%) and Zhytomyr (+25%) regions. In frontline regions (Mykolaiv, Donetsk, and Kherson regions), there are the fewest offers (from 20 to 91), but salaries there have increased by 18-43% over the year.

Earlier, RBK-Ukraine reported on the crisis in the restaurant and hotel sector (HoReCa) caused by winter blackouts. Working conditions in the industry have deteriorated, physical and psychological stress has increased, and businesses are facing a severe labor shortage. At the same time, most establishments continue to operate and invest in autonomy.
