The final weekend of March in Ukraine will be moderately warm. However, some weather “peculiarities” in certain areas are unavoidable.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a post by meteorologist and forecaster Natalka Didenko on Facebook.

Which regions might see rain and what about the wind
According to the specialist, during Saturday and Sunday some regions of Ukraine will see sunshine, while others are likely to experience precipitation.
Thus, rain on March 28-29 is most likely:
- in the western regions;
- in the south of Odessa region;
- in places (“a few drops”) – in Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions.
On Sunday, light rain may also occur in Luhansk region.
“However, the majority of Ukraine will remain precipitation-free,” Didenko stated.
Wind is expected to be from the east and northeast in the coming days.
“Moderate, at times gusty,” the meteorologist clarified.
What to expect from air temperature in Ukraine
The final weekend of March, according to the expert, will be “moderately warm“.
“It’s almost the perfect period when the cold is gone, but the heat is still far away. You can dress comfortably, stylishly… without dragging extra insulation on your shoulders,” the forecaster added.
Thus, during the daytime on Saturday (March 28) and Sunday (March 29), air temperatures in most regions of Ukraine are expected to be around +12+18 degrees Celsius.
At the same time, the weather will bring certain “peculiarities” – tomorrow will be colder:
- in Sumy region;
- in Chernihiv region;
- in Kharkiv region;
- in Poltava region;
- in the eastern areas of Kyiv region.
“During the day +8+11 degrees,” Didenko specified.
The day after tomorrow, the air will cool down (to +9+12 degrees):
- in the western part of Ukraine;
- in the north.

What to expect from the weather in Kyiv
In Kyiv, significant precipitation during the weekend is, according to Didenko, unlikely.
On Sunday, cloud cover will increase.
The daytime air temperature in the capital is expected to be as follows:
- March 28 – around +12+14°C;
- March 29 – around +10+12°C.
“In short, it’s a great time for spring cleaning, visiting museums, playing in the garden, and enjoying the wonderful March air,” the specialist concluded.
