What Yaryovenko said about his citizenship

The actor, who gained fame for his role in the series “Kryposna” and the new film “Bachu tebe,” talked about the documents he has while living in Ukraine. He continues to work in the country and supports the people in their fight against the Russian Federation.

According to the star, he has a permanent residence permit. However, his Belarusian passport has expired.

“It (the residence permit – ed.) is valid, but my Belarusian passport expired in 2022. I wanted to extend it in February, but the full-scale invasion happened, and the embassy left,” he said.

Alexey considered obtaining Ukrainian citizenship, but it is very complicated at the moment.

“Of course, yes, I applied for Ukrainian citizenship, but my case hasn’t even been considered. So now I am legally in Ukraine, but my Belarusian national passport has expired,” he stated.

As for his children, they were born in Kyiv and are Ukrainians. The actor is raising his sons Daniil and Gleb, who are 4 and 2 years old. They were born during his marriage to actress Olga.

“They are Ukrainians. And the main thing is they are Kyivans. I was born in the capital, and they were born in the capital. This is very cool for me,” he shared.

Is he ready to go to the front

The star of “Kryposna” also touched on the topic of mobilization in Ukraine. When asked if he would be ready to defend the country if he obtained citizenship and received a summons, he answered honestly.

“This is the responsibility that men should take on. I have boys; they are Ukrainians. I don’t know how long the war will last. This question is open. I think if the time comes, then yes,” he said.

When asked if he was ready to go to the front, Yaryovenko ultimately gave an affirmative answer.

“It’s hard to say. I know that it is an obligation. It’s hard to accept. But I know how to take responsibility and what it means. If I get citizenship, then yes,” the actor concluded.
