According to RBC-Ukraine, citing the Telegram channel of the blogger, Vladimir Ostapchuk’s wife, Ekaterina, announced that their family has decided to move to Canada.

“Dear readers, our family has decided to move to Canada,” wrote the showman’s wife.
According to her, she and her husband began considering the move about a year ago.
At the same time, she admitted that she struggled to make a final decision.
“We started thinking about this decision a year ago, but emigration is a difficult step, so personally, I found 1,091 reasons to postpone it,” Ekaterina shared.
She also explained that the final decision was influenced by the shelling of her husband’s house.
“The final push for this decision was the shelling of my husband’s house, which became an internal impetus for us and the last straw,” she noted.

Due to the move to Canada, the family also decided to sell their cars. Ekaterina explained that it is impossible to transport cars to this country due to local regulations.

Why the Ostapchuks chose Canada
Ekaterina explained that moving to Canada seems logical for their family.
According to her, Vladimir is a resident of the country and has family there.
“My husband is a resident of Canada, and he has older children living there, so moving there now seems natural and logical to us,” she clarified.
Additionally, Ekaterina mentioned that she herself has a work permit. Subsequently, she said, after Vladimir obtains citizenship, she and their son Timofey will be able to go through this process via family sponsorship.
At the same time, the showman’s partner emphasized that she does not see this decision as irreversible.

“Personally, I find it easier morally not to perceive this decision as final, so I reserve the right to hope for a return. For now, we will live between two countries,” she wrote.
Ekaterina also confessed that this decision was not easy for her, but she is convinced that it is the best option for their child right now.
“I have gone through all the stages of denial, acceptance, etc. But I understand that for the child, this is the best decision right now,” she noted.
According to Ekaterina, during a recent trip to Canada, the couple already sorted out the paperwork.
The family plans to move in the near future—in June. Ekaterina specified that on May 31, Vladimir Ostapchuk will be working in Europe, and from there he will head to Canada.

“We are moving in June. On May 31, Vova will be in Europe for a wedding and will head straight to Canada from there,” she shared.
Ekaterina also added that Vladimir will not stop working as a presenter.
According to her, he currently has many orders in Europe, and it is even easier to get there from Canada than from Ukraine.
In addition, she mentioned that Ostapchuk studied at a university in Canada and has continued his studies remotely for the past six months, taking exams.
Now, she said, he has the right to teach at universities in Canada.
