You can receive 1500 hryvnias on your card or at “Ukrposhta”
More than 9 million Ukrainian pensioners have already received 1500 hryvnias in spring social assistance on their bank cards.
This was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, as reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing her speech in the Verkhovna Rada.

“When we talk about the most vulnerable categories of the population, about pensioners, about internally displaced persons, we have a corresponding program in place. The support program of 1500 hryvnias,” Svyrydenko noted.
According to her, as of now, 9 million pensioners have already received the corresponding assistance on their cards.
Who is eligible for assistance
A one-time payment of 1500 hryvnias is provided for the most disadvantaged segments of the population. The list of recipients includes:
- pensioners and people with disabilities;
- low-income and large families;
- internally displaced persons (IDPs);
- single mothers and recipients of basic social assistance.
Assistance is granted on the condition that the total amount of monthly payments to the individual (including all allowances) does not exceed 25,950 hryvnias.
At the same time, certain categories of citizens will receive state support regardless of their income level. This includes:
- individuals who directly participated in the defense of Ukraine;
- family members of deceased, dead, or missing defenders;
- participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported on the launch of one-time cash assistance for Ukrainians starting April 1, 2026.
We wrote that the government began to pay 1500 hryvnias to pensioners and social benefit recipients. The funds will be credited automatically – to bank accounts or along with pensions through “Ukrposhta,” without the need to contact institutions.
