The artist rarely appears in public these days, but from time to time he reminds us of his presence.
In the 90s, Leri Winn was one of the prominent figures in the Ukrainian pop scene: he recorded hits, hosted music programs, and actively toured. Later, he almost disappeared from the public eye, turned to business, and now he has resurfaced with a new interview and an appearance in a film.

Biography of Leri Winn
Leri Winn, whose real name is Valeriy Dyatlov, was born in Dnipro but grew up in Vinnytsia.
Before gaining popularity, he sang in restaurants, and during the challenging 90s, he tried to earn a living not just through music.
After an unsuccessful attempt to engage in trade abroad, he returned to the stage, recorded the album “Wind from the Island of Rains,” and subsequently became well-known in Ukraine.
Later, the artist moved to Kyiv, where he continued his music career, hosted the program “Shlyager bo Shlyager,” and released new songs.
In the late 90s, he also joined Leonid Kuchma’s election campaign and afterward received the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine.
In the early 2000s, Larry Winn released several more albums, but later he almost stepped away from the big stage and shifted to another field.

He began organizing events and did not hide the fact that at that time he did not see himself making an active musical comeback.
“I breathed the air of show business, stepped back, and sat on a bench. I dove headfirst into events. I’m not sure I’m ready for a comeback,” the singer said.
His statement about Oleg Vinnik caused quite a stir at the time. Leri Winn claimed that the artist’s stage image was essentially “copied” from him.
“Vinnik was completely copied from me, without hiding it. I spoke with the people who did it, and they said: ‘What do you have to complain about? You’re not doing anything anyway.’ And is it not a big deal that both the suit and the manner are me, just from 1998?” Larry Winn said.

What Larry Winn is doing now
Recently, the artist has reappeared in the media. In particular, he starred in the family film “Well, Mom,” where he played himself.
In a new interview with OBOZ.ua, the singer reacted ironically to a question about his current life.
“Who knows… I’m living. Can you answer such a question yourself? ‘What are you doing now’ – and what can I say? Because sometimes there is simply no clear answer to that. In today’s realities, you don’t know what will happen even in an hour, let alone tomorrow. So honestly, I’m a bit annoyed by these journalistic headlines like: ‘How is Larry Winn living today?’ Just go away with that! (laughs),” the singer said.
He also denied rumors that he lives in Vinnytsia. According to the artist, his home has long been in Kyiv, and he only goes to Vinnytsia to visit family.

“Why on earth would I live in Vinnytsia? Such gossip in the media? No, I live in Kyiv, I visit Vinnytsia because my mom and sister are there,” the performer said.
Additionally, the singer shared a bit about his children. According to him, his daughter Polina is already an adult, and his son Artem has long been building his life abroad and has worked in Japan, Germany, and the USA.
“My daughter Polina is already an adult – she is 27 years old. My son Artem is even more grown-up. He is bright, talented, and has been living outside Ukraine for a long time. He had contracts in Japan – worked there for seven years and even became a star of the Japanese show business. But that’s a separate story. Then he said: ‘Dad, if there’s a country in this world where I don’t want to live, it’s Japan.’ After that, he went to Germany, and now he’s in the USA,” the artist shared.
