Recently, Vyshybaba’s first wife revealed her truth about their divorce
Pavel Vyshybaba is preparing for marriage for the second time. The poet and serviceman proposed to his beloved, Anzhelika Kravets, after several months of dating.

Vyshybaba proposed to his beloved after three months of acquaintance
The poet-soldier announced his engagement in an unusual way. He shared a video of the moment he proposed and revealed the story of their love.
In the footage, he gets down on one knee and proposes to Anzhelika during her visit to him in Eastern Ukraine. He chose a location by a body of water at sunset for this moment, with the help of his comrades to organize the surprise.
“I don’t know why I thought she might say ‘yes.’ We’ve only known each other for three months,” Pavel admitted.
Kravets said “yes.” The couple does not hide that their relationship developed very quickly, but Vyshybaba emphasizes that for him, it is not about the timeline, but about the feeling of confidence.

How this story began
Vyshybaba shared that their acquaintance began online. Their communication started with messaging and quickly transitioned to real-life meetings.
Vyshybaba traveled to Anzhelika in the Ternopil region, where she lived. The trip was decisive for him; after it, he realized he wanted to develop this relationship.
Later, Anzhelika came to visit him in a frontline town. The distance and challenging circumstances did not prevent them from growing closer.

What is known about Vyshybaba’s past relationships
Pavel was previously married to journalist Inna Teslenko. Their marriage in 2015 became well-known as the couple was the first in Ukraine to apply for marriage registration online.
The couple had a daughter. Vyshybaba announced their divorce in 2022.
In February 2026, when the serviceman introduced his new partner, Teslenko reacted to mentions of Vyshybaba’s personal life in the media and made a public statement.
She revealed that the divorce was painful and unexpected for her, and that the decision was not mutual, according to her.

“There were no joint decisions; the decision came from one side. And then I hear: ‘Sorry, I didn’t know you were still married.’ At that moment, it felt like I had entered some other reality, like in a bad TV series,” the former wife of Vyshybaba wrote on Threads.
“The family story is not quite over. When a person visits their own family while simultaneously having other relationships, it’s hardly called ‘that’s all in the past.’ But for those who wait and love at home, it hurts every time to learn about new interests,” she noted.
Vyshybaba himself stated in response that he does not want to publicly discuss the details of the divorce out of respect for the mother of his child. He also clarified that he informed his ex-wife about his new relationship personally, before making it public.
