Colleagues of the artist reported that his life was cut short in Odessa
On March 29, Ukrainian artist and one of the well-known participants of “Mask-Show,” Vladimir Komarov, passed away in Odessa. The humorist was 61 years old.

The note stated that the cause of the artist’s death was heart failure.
“Yesterday, March 29, Komarik, Vovka, Vladimir Komarov, left for the Rainbow. Fantastically talented, blessed by God, positive, kind, charismatic, a true… Heart failure… There are simply no words,” the troupe’s message reads.
Colleagues also announced that a memorial service for Vladimir Komarov is scheduled for Wednesday, April 1, at the Panteleimon Monastery.
The exact time will be announced later after coordination with the family.
Brief biography of Vladimir Komarov
Vladimir Komarov was well-known to audiences as one of the brightest members of the comedy troupe.
Over the years, he worked in the Pantomime and Clowning Ensemble “Masks” at the Odessa Regional Philharmonic and also performed at the Kyiv Estrada Theater “Sharzh.”
In 1989, the artist rejoined the “Mask-Show” studio, where he became one of the most recognizable faces in humorous sketches.
In 2002, he left the troupe and, together with Alexey Agopyan, created the comic duo “Odokolon.”
Later, Komarov founded the musical-humorous group “Dr. BrMental,” where he combined stage performances with music in the genres of rock and roll and blues.
