The sad news of the actor’s death was announced by his colleague, who shared a heartfelt farewell on social media.
Ukrainian actor Oleg Gusev has passed away. He was 56 years old at the time of his death.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a post on Instagram by showman Vadim Michkovsky (Uncle Zhora).

On social media, the comedian published a joint photo with Oleg Gusev and dedicated a touching post to him.
According to Michkovsky, the actor had been battling a serious illness for some time.
Family, friends, and loved ones hoped for his recovery, but they were unable to save the artist.
“Goodbye, friend. Oleg… May the memory of a bright and kind person live on. He loved life, people, friends, and brought them together, spreading joy. Your big, kind heart and positivity were enough for everyone. We were all hoping you would recover. Rest in peace, Oleg. Kingdom of Heaven. Condolences to the family and loved ones,” the showman wrote.

The actor’s funeral took place on March 24 at the monastery located in the Botanical Garden.
Afterward, he was cremated at Baikove Cemetery.

Gusev was born in Bila Tserkva. Although he initially studied in the agricultural field, he later dedicated himself to the stage and film work.
