Usyk immersed Joshua in Ukrainian culture – with songs, dances, and live emotions
World Champion Oleksandr Usyk, who brought Anthony Joshua to Ukraine, organized a vibrant meeting for him in Lviv. There, they were greeted by stars of the National Selection and colorful songs.

How Usyk showed Joshua Lviv
Instead of a classic social program, Usyk decided to show his guest the true atmosphere of Ukraine.
In Lviv, an improvised show with folk motifs was organized for the boxers, featuring Ukrainian songs and lively dances.

A special atmosphere was created by the participants of the National Selection for “Eurovision” – the group YAGODY. The artists performed ethnic compositions.

It is known that this is Anthony Joshua’s first visit to Ukraine during the full-scale war. Both boxers are expected to be honored guests at the “Rising Stars” boxing evening, where the professional debut of Olympic champion Oleksandr Khyzhniak will take place.
Recall that Usyk and Joshua have already met twice in the ring, in 2021 and 2022. Both fights ended in victory for the Ukrainian, and now their relationship has transitioned to a friendly format.
