What Kachorovska wrote

The businesswoman noted that two weeks ago she received the “UP-100: Power of Women” award from “Ukrainian Truth,” which symbolically marked the conclusion of her 20 years in business.

“It so happened that this award very symbolically marked the end of a 20-year business phase in my life. It came at a moment when I decided to step down as CEO and develop in the role of creative director,” Kachorovska wrote.

This decision marks the end of an important stage and the beginning of something new.

“For me, this is both a logical point and a sign that it’s time to move on. And I am ready to move forward,” Kachorovska noted.

What is known about the Kachorovska brand

Kachorovska is a Ukrainian family brand of shoes and accessories that grew from a home atelier in 1957 into a large-scale production with its own stores.

The first shoemakers in the family were Alina Kachorovska’s grandmother and mother, who worked in factories and created a home atelier in Zhytomyr.

Since 2010, the brand operated as a family business in Kyiv, combining the workshop from Zhytomyr and the atelier of Alina and Ruslan Ocheretyany.

In 2015, the first branded store opened in Podil, combining the sale of shoes and accessories with a café, becoming a popular space for Kyiv residents. Later, more stores opened in Kyiv and Odesa.

In 2020, Kachorovska launched the WomanX2 campaign dedicated to modern Ukrainian women, and during the quarantine, the brand optimized production, focusing on custom orders and home footwear. That same year, the first collection in collaboration with Tina Karol was released.

Since 2021, the brand transformed into the Kacho Group holding, uniting Kachorovska and Melly, and launched a series of collaborations with Ukrainian designers and stars, including wedding shoes and joint collections with brands The COAT, Milla Nova, and Ksenia Schnaider.

Today, the Kachorovska brand is among the most well-known Ukrainian manufacturers of shoes, accessories, and clothing, and Alina Kachorovska herself has become one of the most prominent figures in the Ukrainian fashion industry.
