The Sunset Visitor studio has introduced a new adventure game where a digital clone must convince AI that it is not a living being.

Developers of one of the most well-known games, 1000xResist, have officially unveiled their new project titled Prove You’re Human. The new game promises to immerse players in complex ethical questions of the future.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing material from Engadget.

A plot filled with ethical dilemmas

As in the studio’s previous work, the events of Prove You’re Human take place in a distant future. The player takes on the role of a digital clone of a human, hired for a specific task: to convince the artificial intelligence system that it is not alive.

“The AI dares to dream that it is human. You have been hired to put it in its place,” the game description states.

The situation is complicated by the fact that the main character is also not a human in the physical sense. The developers are convinced that this creates a profound identity conflict.

Gameplay and visual style

The gameplay will include exploring the environment, interacting with corporate employees, and controlling the physical body of the digital clone. An interesting feature will be the mechanics of creating and solving CAPTCHA. This will emphasize the theme of “proving humanity.”

The developers have chosen a unique visual style, integrating real footage of Vancouver into the virtual landscape.

“Vancouver is a well-known film city. We use this infrastructure to give the human forms in the game a sense of tactility,” said Remy Siu, founder of Sunset Visitor.

When to expect the game’s release

The developers have presented a teaser trailer – the exact release date is still unknown. However, the game can already be added to the wishlist in the Steam store.

Given the success of 1000xResist, the new project is already being called one of the most anticipated indie games in the science fiction genre.
