Public choice in favor of the aggressor country has now been solidified in his personal life

Babich’s chosen one is millionaire blogger Anna Pokrov.
The couple, who have been in a relationship for five years, quietly registered their marriage in St. Petersburg.
The ceremony took place without guests, but the newlyweds publicly displayed their rings in the very country that is waging war against Ukraine daily.
According to available information, they plan to hold a large wedding in the summer.

Against the backdrop of Babich’s previous statements and actions, this marriage appears not just as a personal decision but as another public marker of a definitive break with Ukraine.
Who is Arthur Babich
Arthur Babich was born on May 16, 2000, in a village near Kryvyi Rih.
He grew up in a low-income family: his parents divorced when he was five, his mother worked on a farm, and his father, of Armenian descent, left Ukraine.
As a teenager, Babich partially took care of his younger brother Timur.
Initially, he wanted to become a football player, but later focused on social media, which brought him popularity and profit.
Babich gained wide recognition thanks to TikTok, where his videos quickly started to gather millions of views.

By 2020, he moved to Moscow and joined the Russian TikTok house Dream Team, which catered exclusively to the Russian audience.
During the same period, he also began a music career, releasing tracks primarily aimed at the Russian market.
His key projects, media environment, and earnings were closely tied to Russia.
After the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia, Babich became a symbol of betrayal for many Ukrainians.
He avoided clear statements about Russian aggression and effectively pretended for a long time that the war did not exist.
In 2022, the blogger left Russia, but as it turned out later, not due to a principled stance.
Subsequently, he was banned from entering Russia. This was linked in Russia to alleged “discrediting of the Russian Armed Forces” after he sang the Ukrainian anthem during a stream.

However, even after that, Babich did not distance himself from the aggressor country.
While in the USA and Armenia, he repeatedly demonstrated sympathy for Russia and Putin, and later even stated that he would not mind serving in the Russian army.
He explained his so-called “mission” as “reconciliation of Ukrainian and Russian children,” ignoring the war, the killings of civilians, and the destroyed Ukrainian cities.
In September 2024, Babich openly expressed his desire to return to Moscow and obtain Russian citizenship, explaining that he had “always dreamed of living there.”
In December, he arrived in the capital of Russia, including for a meeting with Anna Pokrov.
Soon after, the blogger was seen near the migration center and reported that he had submitted documents for Russian citizenship. He later received a Russian passport.
