In Ukraine, over 1.3 million people have already taken advantage of the opportunity to receive cashback for fuel. Since the start of the program, more than 200,000 new accounts have been opened in “National Cashback.”

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a statement from the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko.

“As part of this program, Ukrainians receive compensation: 15% on diesel, 10% on gasoline, and 5% on autogas. At current prices, this allows savings of 2 UAH per liter of autogas and 11 UAH on diesel. A total of up to 1,000 UAH cashback per month,” the Prime Minister reminded.

She also added that the received compensation can be spent in several ways: on utility bills, medications, products of Ukrainian production, or making a donation to support the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The program will be in effect until May 1, 2026.

“In total, 4.4 million Ukrainians are actively using the national cashback program. Since the launch of the fuel cashback, more than 200,000 new accounts have been opened in the ‘National Cashback,'” Svyrydenko summarized.

Recall that since March 20, the “fuel” cashback has been operational in Ukraine. Ukrainians who refuel at gas stations participating in the program will receive up to 15% of their spending back.

The state will reimburse 15% of the expenses for diesel fuel; 10% for gasoline and 5% for autogas. The cashback on each liter will range from 2 to 11 UAH, with a maximum monthly amount of 1,000 UAH per person.

The Ministry of Economy explained that the government chose the “fuel cashback” option because it does not affect military support and provides assistance to those who need financial help the most.
