Pavlik responded for the first time to the scandal at the Ukraine Palace and supported his wife: “I sang confidently.”

The singer considers the interruption of the performance unfounded, and the behavior behind the scenes unacceptable

Ukrainian singer Viktor Pavlik has publicly commented for the first time on the scandal that erupted after his anniversary concert at the National Palace of Arts “Ukraine”.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the star’s Instagram.

Pavlik confirmed that the Palace “Ukraine” was indeed the initiator of the concert and conducted extensive preparatory work.

At the same time, the artist emphasized that this does not excuse the events that, according to him, occurred during the performance itself.

“On March 21, my anniversary concert took place at the National Palace of Arts ‘Ukraine’. I want to note: the Palace ‘Ukraine’ truly initiated this concert and conducted significant organizational work. I appreciate this and am grateful for the contribution to the preparation of the event. But this cannot justify the things that happened during the concert,” the performer stated.

According to the singer, unacceptable working conditions were created for him during the performance, and the concert, he claims, was interrupted without real reasons.

Viktor Frankovich emphasized that he had no health issues and felt ready to continue singing.

“During the performance, unacceptable conditions were created for the artist’s work. The concert was stopped without any objective grounds. I felt good, was in working form, sang confidently, and had no physical discomfort that could have been a reason for stopping the performance,” the artist emphasized.

The performer also stated that after this, the situation went beyond professional ethics.

He spoke directly about humiliation, psychological pressure, and unacceptable remarks, particularly directed at his wife, Yekaterina Repikhova.

“After this, the situation went beyond professional ethics. There was public humiliation, psychological pressure, and unacceptable remarks, including towards my wife. Phrases like ‘your place is at home’ are manifestations of discrimination and have nothing to do with respect for either the person or the profession,” Pavlik wrote.

The singer also made it clear that he fully supports his wife’s public stance.

According to him, silence in such situations only reinforces impunity and does not allow for changes in the professional environment.

“I fully support my wife in her position not to remain silent about such matters. Silence breeds permissiveness. And if we want changes in the professional environment, we must speak about it openly,” the artist stated.

At the end of his address, Pavlik thanked the audience who were present that evening and hinted that he would return to the stage.

“I am grateful to every viewer who was in the hall that evening for their support, warmth, and love. I will definitely sing an encore!” he concluded.

What preceded Viktor Pavlik’s statement

The scandal came to light after statements by Yekaterina Repikhova, who claimed that during Viktor Pavlik’s concert at the Palace “Ukraine,” she faced psychological pressure, humiliation, and threats from the organizers.

Later, she also stated that the concert was allegedly stopped without a planned intermission, and the artist was told that he “sings terribly.”

Subsequently, Anna Zaval’skaya intervened in the public dispute, defending the concert team.

She stated that the intermission was a professional decision, not a humiliation of the artist, and accused Pavlik’s wife of deliberately escalating the conflict.

Now, for the first time, Viktor Pavlik himself has publicly spoken on the matter, effectively supporting his wife’s version and confirming that he considers the situation behind the scenes unacceptable.
