What was agreed upon with Norway and how will it help us?
Ukraine and Norway have agreed on key priorities for defense cooperation, focusing on strengthening air defense and systematically supplying the front with drones.
This was reported by Ukraine’s Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov following a meeting with Norway’s Defense Minister Tore Sandvik, as conveyed by RBK-Ukraine citing his Telegram channel.

Priorities for cooperation and air defense
According to the minister, during the negotiations, the parties identified the main areas of work – the development of air defense systems, scaling up defense innovations, and supporting the “Czech initiative” for ammunition procurement.
Particular attention was given to the development of “small air defense” using interceptor drones.
Fedorov stated that March became the most productive month for the “Army of Drones. Bonus” program, which allowed for increased effectiveness in hitting targets and intensified pressure on Russia’s economic potential.
Provision of drones to brigades
Norway will finance a project for the basic supply of Ukrainian units with unmanned systems. This decision is expected to ensure the military a stable supply of the necessary minimum of equipment on a monthly basis.
“This is a systematic solution that will provide the military with a guaranteed minimum of drones each month and will directly impact effectiveness at the front,” emphasized Mykhailo Fedorov.
The minister also invited his Norwegian counterpart to visit Ukraine to demonstrate the technological component of the army in real combat conditions.
Expectations from “Ramstein”
Recall that the next meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine’s defense in the “Ramstein” format is scheduled for April 15. It is expected that the main topics of the meeting will be further strengthening of Ukrainian air defense and the development of unmanned systems.
In addition, as a result of preliminary agreements with allies, Ukraine has already received a German shipment of PAC-3 missiles for the Patriot air defense systems. As President Volodymyr Zelensky noted, these missiles are already on Ukrainian soil and enhance the protection of the sky.
