Important statement from Peskov regarding the next round of negotiations
On Saturday, March 21, negotiations in the USA will only take place between Kyiv and Washington, Moscow will not participate.
This was announced by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov to journalists, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing Russian Interfax.

“No, Russia will not participate in these contacts. This will be a bilateral dialogue between Ukrainians and Americans. The pause in the continuation of the trilateral format is temporary,” he said.
Peskov also expressed hope that Russia would be able to return to negotiations in the near future.
Ukrainian delegation at the negotiations
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukrainian officials have already traveled to the USA to participate in the next round of negotiations.
He mentioned that he discussed the negotiation process with Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov, and leader of the Servant of the People faction in the Rada Davyd Arakhamia. The first deputy head of the Office of the President, Serhiy Kyslytsia, will also participate in the meetings.
Pause in negotiations
Recall that the new round of trilateral negotiations between Ukraine, Russia, and the USA was initially scheduled to take place from March 5 to 8. The negotiations were planned in Abu Dhabi.
Zelensky reported that the parties were considering another location due to hostilities in the Middle East. However, the meeting did not take place, as the USA was focused on its operation against Iran.
Last week, the head of the Ukrainian state stated that Washington expressed readiness for a new meeting, but only on US territory. American officials are currently not allowed to leave the country due to security concerns.
At the same time, Zelensky stated that during future negotiations, an agreement should be reached for a meeting at the leadership level, as it is in this format that a resolution on territorial issues can be achieved.
