Ukrainian Premier League Takes Center Stage After National Team’s Fiasco
On April 3, the 20th round of the Ukrainian Premier League kicks off. The schedule spans four days.

Sharan’s debut in the battle of the underdogs
The round begins on Friday at 15:30 with a match between the season’s main underperformers. “Poltava” will host “Alexandria” in Kropyvnytskyi. In this matchup of teams at the bottom of the standings, “Alexandria” will be led by a new coach – Volodymyr Sharan. The experienced specialist was appointed before the break for national team matches. His main goal is to save the current vice-champions from relegation.
The next two matches will take place on Saturday, April 4. At 13:00, “Koloss” in Kovalivka will face Kharkiv’s “Metalist 1925”. Then at 15:30, “Dynamo” will host Lviv’s “Karpaty”.
Football Marathon on Sunday
Four matches are scheduled for Sunday, April 5, with two of them starting at the same time. On this day, all teams from the top three of the season will play.
First, at 13:00, Cherkasy’s LNZ will meet Kryvyi Rih’s “Kryvbas” away. At 15:30, matches “Shakhtar” – “Rukh” (the miners will be nominal hosts at “Arena Lviv”) and “Obolon” – “Zorya” will kick off. The day will conclude with the match “Polissya” – “Veres” in Zhytomyr at 18:00.
The last match of the round will take place on Monday, April 6. On this day, “Epicenter” from Kamianets-Podilskyi will host “Kudrivka”. The venue for the clash will be the “Left Bank” stadium in the Kyiv region.
