The head coach of the “blue-yellow” team announced a decisive conversation regarding his contract
On the eve of the friendly match against Albania, the head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Serhiy Rebrov, spoke with the media. The coach answered pressing questions, particularly about his future with the national team.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the pre-match press conference of the coach.

Responsibility and future in UAF
Journalists were most interested in the issue of responsibility for the defeat against Sweden and rumors about the continuation of cooperation with the association. Rebrov did not hide that a serious conversation with the leadership awaits him.
“I need to meet with the president of UAF after this game and resolve everything. Believe me, we will sort it out. Everything will be done as well as possible for our country and team. I never separate the coach from the team. Yes, I am the first to take responsibility, but the guys also need to understand – we play together,” the coach emphasized.
The lineup for Albania and the absence of Yarmolenko
Rebrov confirmed that on Tuesday, March 31, viewers will see an updated team. The coach plans to give young players a chance to change the emotional state after the setback.
Regarding the non-call of Andriy Yarmolenko, the coach explained this by the high competition and playing time at the start of the championship.
“I wish Andriy Mykolayovych only the best, for him to finish the season without injuries, but there is currently a lot of competition in that position,” the specialist noted.
The coach also commented on rumors about an alleged robbery of the national team at the hotel before the match against Sweden, stating that he does not have such information and advised to contact the administrators.

The friendly match Ukraine – Albania will take place on March 31 at the “Ciutat de Valencia” stadium in Valencia, Spain. The start is at 21:45 Kyiv time.
