In which parts of Ukraine will night frosts strike?
Today, April 11, cold weather with frosts, rain, and locally wet snow will persist in Ukraine. However, a slight increase in air temperature is expected during the day.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

Weather in Ukraine
According to meteorologists, today almost the entire country is expected to have cloudy weather with clearings.
At night in the north, northeast, and Cherkasy region, and during the day in most regions except the southwest, there will be light rain in places, at night – with wet snow.
Also, at night and in the morning in the southeastern regions, as well as in Chernihiv and Sumy regions, fog is possible.
The wind will be predominantly from the west, at 5-10 m/s.
Air temperature at night will range from +1 to +6 degrees, however, in the west, north, as well as in Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Odesa, and Mykolaiv regions, frosts of 0-3 degrees are expected both on the ground and locally in the air. During the day, the air will warm up to +4 to +9 degrees, in the south and southeast – up to +13 degrees.
Weather in Kyiv
In the capital, cloudy weather with clearings is forecasted today. Wet snow is possible at night, and light rain during the day.
The temperature at night will be -0 to -2 degrees, and during the day – +5 to +7 degrees.
Meteorologists have issued a warning about dangerous meteorological phenomena: at night on April 11, frosts of 0-3 degrees are expected in the capital and region (II level of danger, orange).
“Frosts will harm early-flowering fruit trees,” warned the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

Recall that meteorologists have already announced the weather forecast for Easter and explained when warmth will begin to return to Ukraine. In particular, in a brief interview for RBC-Ukraine, Natalia Ptukha discussed what weather surprises to expect during the holidays.
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center also published a climatic characteristic of April and provided a preliminary forecast for the second month of spring.
Additionally, it was previously reported that in certain regions of Ukraine, temperatures sharply dropped to -10 degrees in April.
