Kiev changes parking violation tariffs
Starting April 15, the cost of car evacuation in Kiev will increase: private carriers are significantly raising the minimum tariff.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the Kyiv City Military Administration.

Why it is getting more expensive
The reason is the rise in fuel prices, says Konstantin Usov, deputy head of the city administration. This is why private companies involved in the transportation of towed vehicles are revising their tariffs.
“The tariff for such services is not state-regulated, so it is set directly by the companies providing the transportation,” Usov noted.
How much will car evacuation cost in Kiev
From April 15, 2026, the minimum evacuation price for private operators will be 1,680 UAH. This is the same amount charged for transporting a vehicle weighing up to 2,000 kg if the evacuation is carried out by the National Police.
Compared to last year, the tariff has significantly increased – in 2025, the minimum cost started at 1,200 UAH.

Kiev is still cheaper than other cities
Even after the increase, the capital’s tariff remains one of the lowest in Ukraine among major cities:
- Dnipro – from 2,110 to 2,410 UAH;
- Lviv – from 1,862 to 2,638 UAH.
As previously reported by RBC-Ukraine, the evacuation tariff is not state-fixed – it is set by the carriers themselves.
At the same time, disputes regarding the legality of the evacuation can be challenged in court, and compensation can be obtained if the inspector made mistakes during the documentation process.

To retrieve a car from the impound lot in Kiev, you can do it offline – through a patrol police station – or online via the document sharing function in “Diia” and the “Kyiv Digital” app.
For this, you need to pay the fine and the cost of evacuation and storage.
