“Putin’s Dream Plan”: The Polish Prime Minister Named Five Threats That Benefit the Kremlin

Donald Tusk sounds the alarm over Trump and Orban

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has called the actions of Trump, Orban, and the threat of NATO’s disintegration a “dream plan of Putin” – and explained why.

As reported by RBC-Ukraine, Tusk wrote about this on social media platform X.

“The dream plan of Putin”: what Tusk means

The Polish Prime Minister gathered several facts that are currently happening simultaneously in one note.

“The threat of NATO’s disintegration, the easing of sanctions against Russia, a large-scale energy crisis in Europe, the cessation of aid to Ukraine, and Orban’s blocking of loans for Kyiv – all of this resembles Putin’s dream plan,” Tusk wrote.

Additionally, the Polish Prime Minister sharply criticized Hungarian leader Viktor Orban and his Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto the day before.

The occasion was media reports about the close ties between the Hungarian government and Moscow. Tusk did not hold back in his statements.

In particular, he described the audio recording of Szijjarto’s conversation with Lavrov as “depressing” and confirmation of the “deeply troubling” relations between Budapest and Moscow.

Recall that Trump, in his address to the nation, stated that the U.S. imports almost no oil through the Strait of Hormuz and does not plan to do so.

As RBC-Ukraine reported, he suggested that countries dependent on this route either buy oil from the U.S. or unblock the strait themselves.

After the start of operations against Iran, Tehran closed this strategic corridor, through which about 20% of the world’s oil production passes.

Meanwhile, a new demand from Iran to the U.S. has emerged that was not present before. In particular, they want the world to recognize their sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian authorities aim to turn this waterway into a source of billions of dollars.
