Meteorologists warn that bad weather will last at least until April 10
In Ukraine, unexpectedly in the middle of spring, on April 7, a snowfall began. The northern and western regions of the country are already being covered with snow.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing eyewitness accounts on social media.

Videos of the snowfall that has covered the Zhytomyr and Khmelnytskyi regions of Ukraine are being shared on social media. Both regions have suddenly encountered snow despite it being early April.
In other regions, snow has not yet arrived – there is just strong wind and a significant deterioration in weather conditions. According to meteorologists’ forecasts, the significant cooling may last until April 10, when it will gradually start to warm up again.
Drivers are specifically warned, many of whom have already switched their vehicles to summer tires. It is noted that due to the bad weather, road conditions in cities and on highways may significantly worsen.
It should be noted that earlier, at the beginning of March, warnings were issued about the contrasts of this April. Meteorologists also predicted that Ukraine would be hit by rain and cooling this week.
By early April, a wave of Scandinavian coolness will cover Ukraine, and stable warm and dry weather should not be expected this month – cyclones will dominate the atmosphere. Weather conditions will begin to normalize no earlier than April 10, and by April 15, it will significantly warm up, and spring will once again become spring, rather than a relapse of winter.
