What is happening in the currency market on April 2 and where is the best rate?
On April 2, the dollar and euro continue to show opposite dynamics. The American currency is depreciating, while the European currency is actively gaining in value.
RBC-Ukraine publishes fresh data from the cash desks of the largest banks and exchange points.

Main points:
- The dollar continues to fall: In exchange offices, the buying rate has decreased to 43.75 UAH (-7 kopecks), while in banks the average selling rate is 44.09 UAH (-1 kopeck).
- The euro is rapidly increasing in value: The EU currency has shown growth in exchange offices to 50.90 UAH (+10 kopecks), while in banks the buying rate has jumped to 51.00 UAH (+24 kopecks).
- Where to buy most profitably: The cheapest dollar today is offered by Oschadbank and Monobank, while the lowest euro rate is recorded at PrivatBank.
Currency rates in exchange offices
In exchange offices, there is a change in the value of major currencies compared to the previous morning.
The rate of the American currency continues to show a downward trend. The European currency, on the other hand, has demonstrated an increase in value.
According to the Minfin portal, as of the morning of April 2, the average dollar rate in exchange offices for buying is 43.75 UAH (-7 kopecks).
You can sell the American currency today at a rate of 43.60 UAH (-10 kopecks).
At the same time, the euro in exchange offices costs 50.90 UAH (+10 kopecks) for buying, while selling the European currency can be done at 50.65 UAH (+10 kopecks).

Rates in banks
In banks today, the average dollar rate for buying is 44.09 UAH (-1 kopeck), while selling the American currency can be done, as yesterday morning, at a rate of 43.60 UAH.
At the same time, the European currency in banks now costs 51 UAH (+24 kopecks) for buying, while the rate for selling euros is 50.35 UAH (+25 kopecks).
PrivatBank today sells dollars at cash desks for 44.10 UAH, and for card transactions – 44.05 UAH. The euro at “Privat” can be purchased for 51.10 UAH in branches and 51.02 UAH for cashless transactions.
Oschadbank sells dollars in the mobile “Oschad” app for 44 UAH, while for cards the rate is 44.15 UAH. The euro in the app costs 51.30 UAH, and cashless – 51.15 UAH.
At “Pumba”, dollars can be bought today for 44.10 UAH at the cash desk and 44.10 UAH for cashless. Euros in the bank’s cash desks can be purchased for 51.20 UAH.
Monobank sells dollars for 44.03 UAH, and euros for 51.26 UAH.
