The actor did not immediately accept changes in the personal lives of his relatives after their divorce
22-year-old son of actor Vyacheslav Dovzhenko, Ivan, an actor at the Ivan Franko Theater, spoke about his relationship with his stepfather and his father’s young partner.

The actor assured that he gets along well with all of his parents’ partners.
“Yes, I’m fine with everyone. I have wonderful, good relationships… Love and humanity. That’s it. I have no grudges against anyone,” said Dovzhenko Jr.
According to Ivan, he has had a warm relationship with his mother’s husband for a long time, as they have known each other for many years.
He also has contact with his father’s partner, although this acquaintance happened later.
“Good, good, kind, very good relationships… With Sasha, my stepfather, our relationship has already formed more, because we have known each other for many years. As for my father’s partner, we met relatively recently… Yes, good relationships, great,” he noted.
The star of the film “Mavka. The Real Myth” also explained that for him, the most important thing is to see his parents happy.
“I see that my parents are happy, so I am happy too. That’s the most important thing. I see that they are well,” the actor added.

At the same time, he did not hide the fact that during his teenage years, he experienced this period much more difficultly. According to him, there was jealousy and misunderstanding back then.
“Yes, of course, there were… teenage jealousy, misunderstanding, how is this, what is this,” Dovzhenko recalled.
As the years went by, he says, his attitude changed. The actor admitted that due to his parents’ divorce, he matured earlier and learned to look at the situation differently.
“And then you understand everything… because of the divorce of my parents… I probably matured earlier in this regard, realizing that my mom is happy,” he said.
In the end, Ivan emphasized once again that he currently maintains good relationships with both of his parents’ new partners.
“And I have a wonderful relationship with Sasha, and a wonderful relationship with Svetlana,” Dovzhenko concluded.
What is known about Ivan Dovzhenko’s family
Ivan was born to actor Vyacheslav Dovzhenko and actress Ksenia Basha. The former couple also has a son, Vasily.
The couple divorced back in 2018. At that time, there were many rumors surrounding their breakup.
In particular, it was speculated online that the reason for the changes in Ksenia’s personal life could be her current husband – actor Alexander Formanchuk.
