How to get compensation for a destroyed package?
“Nova Poshta” compensates the cost of a sent package if it was destroyed as a result of a Russian strike. To do this, it is necessary to submit a corresponding request.
This was reported by the press office of NP in response to a request from RBC-Ukraine.

Who is entitled to compensation
The company noted that if a client’s package was destroyed as a result of a Russian attack, NP immediately informs the sender via SMS, Viber, or a notification in the app. An additional call is also made.
The message will include instructions on how to submit a compensation request.
“Compensation is provided specifically to the sender in accordance with the terms of the transportation contract,” NP emphasized.
If the goods and delivery were paid for by the recipient, the sender can waive compensation in favor of the recipient. Only in this case will the money be returned to the recipient.
“In the absence of such a waiver, the recipient can only expect a refund for the delivery if it was paid through the app or at the operator’s branch,” the company stressed.
Typically, processing such requests takes several days. In cases where the package was destroyed due to a Russian strike, there are no refusals for refunds.
What about packages sent to a damaged branch
The company pointed out that if a package is sent to a branch that was damaged by a Russian strike, logistics are promptly adjusted.
“We also inform all senders and recipients about which branch the package will be delivered to if there is a change in the pickup point,” NP noted.
By the way, earlier “Nova Poshta” warned that on Easter, April 12, branches would operate on a shortened schedule (from 10:00 to 16:00).
