One-time targeted support payments of 1500 hryvnias to Ukrainians will begin on April 7. This specifically concerns additional payments to pensioners.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a Facebook post by Ukraine’s Minister of Social Policy, Denis Ulyutin.

According to him, there is no need to submit an application; the funds will be automatically credited to the appropriate account or through “Ukrposhta”.
Payments will start arriving on April 7.
About 13 million Ukrainians will receive the additional amount to their pension or social payment. These are people who are particularly affected by the rise in global fuel prices due to low income.
“1500 hryvnias cover basic household expenses for 1-2 weeks or part of utility payments. This means the funds will immediately go into consumption and support the local economy,” Ulyutin noted.
According to the minister, this tool is standard international practice in crisis situations to quickly support and stabilize people.
“We are applying the same logic – but within a fiscally appropriate model. Social support must be precise, quick, and work not only as assistance but also as a factor of economic stability,” Ulyutin added.
