A new book about Buckingham Palace has sparked yet another loud topic for discussion regarding the relationship between the brothers.
There has long been serious tension between Prince William and Prince Harry, and now the media is once again talking about a possible escalation of this conflict. This time, the reason is a statement made in a new biography of the royal family.

According to the new book by royal author Tom Bower, “Betrayal,” Prince William allegedly made up his mind about his position regarding his younger brother long ago.
An unnamed guest, who is said to have attended the reception following King Charles’s coronation, claims that it was then that William supposedly decided not to invite Prince Harry to his own future coronation.
The article also reminds us that despite Harry’s public statements about wanting to reconcile with the family, there has been no personal meeting between the brothers for many years.
It is noted that they have not been seen together publicly since August 2024.
A representative for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has already responded to the book and its author.
“Those who value facts will look for information elsewhere, while those who love wild conspiracy theories and melodrama know exactly where to find it,” he stated.

Representatives of the Sussexes also expressed strong opinions about the biographer himself.
“He has long crossed the line between criticism and obsession,” the representative said regarding Tom Bower.
In addition to the topic of the coronation, the book also raises the question of Harry and Meghan’s future status in the monarchy.
Bower suggests that after ascending to the throne, William may act extremely harshly towards the Sussexes.
“It was clear that William was not going to take prisoners. As king, he could not show mercy to his brother and Meghan,” noted the royal biographer.
The author also believes that the use of Meghan’s royal title for commercial purposes particularly irritates the Prince and Princess of Wales.
This, he suggests, could further influence William’s attitude towards his brother and his wife.
Moreover, Bower speculates that the issue of titles for Harry and Meghan’s children may arise in the future.
“William will undoubtedly accuse Meghan of disloyalty. He might even strip Archie and Lilibet of their titles,” Tom claims.

The article clarifies that Archie and Lilibet gained the right to the titles of prince and princess after King Charles ascended the throne, as they are the monarch’s grandchildren through the male line.
They are currently officially listed in the line of succession as Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet of Sussex.
At the same time, the publication notes that while such changes are theoretically possible, in practice, it could cause serious repercussions within the royal family and British society.
Therefore, for such a step to occur, very significant events involving the Sussexes would likely need to take place.
