The comedian passed away on March 18 in Kupiansk-Uzlovoy during the evacuation of the wounded.
During the evacuation of the wounded in the Kharkiv region, stand-up comic Arthur Petrov was killed.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a post from his wife on Facebook.

According to the comedian’s wife, the tragedy occurred on March 18 in Kupiansk-Uzlovoy during the evacuation of the wounded.
She also mentioned that Petrov had been serving in the army since April of last year and had been part of the 43rd separate mechanized brigade for the past few months.
“On March 18, Arthur was killed in Kupiansk-Uzlovoy during the evacuation of the wounded. He had been in the army since April of last year, and for the last few months, he was with the 43rd separate mechanized brigade,” the comedian’s wife reported.
Ekaterina noted that she would provide details about the date and time of the farewell separately when Arthur’s body is returned home.
“When he comes home, I will write about the farewell day,” she stated.

In closing, his wife appealed to everyone who knew Arthur to keep a bright memory of him.
“Please remember him as funny,” the military’s wife requested.
What is known about Arthur Petrov
Before his service, Arthur Petrov was a well-known and experienced stand-up comic who entertained audiences with “Underground Stand-Up” for over seven years.
He also participated in television shows such as “Make the Comedian Laugh,” “Goodnight Club,” and “Comedian for a Million.”
In addition to performing, Petrov worked as a writer for the project “I Am Ashamed of My Body.”
Previously, he had mentioned that he was working on a serious medical project where, in his opinion, humor was simply indispensable.

That is why he began regularly performing at open mics as a stand-up comedian.
Arthur also dreamed of writing his own book. He was a family man, living with his wife, two children, mother-in-law, and a dog.
