“They are looking for a retreat”: Vitkoff suggested that Iran is ready to accept the conditions of the United States.

Whitcoff claims Iran will accept American conditions – a 15-point plan already conveyed to intermediaries

U.S. Special Representative Steve Whitcoff suggests that Iran is allegedly ready to accept the conditions put forth by the United States.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing Axios correspondent Barak Ravid and a statement from Whitcoff himself.

“Steve Whitcoff says the U.S. has ‘strong indications’ that Iran can be convinced it has no better alternative than to accept U.S. conditions for ending the war,” Ravid wrote.

According to him, Whitcoff noted, “They are looking for a way out… We told Iran that they should not make the same mistake again,” referring to the negotiation process and the conditions Washington has presented to Tehran.

Whitcoff later spoke to the media and confirmed that he and the U.S. foreign policy team presented Iran with a list of 15 American demands. This list forms the basis of a peace agreement.

“This document has been circulated among representatives of the Pakistani government, which is acting as an intermediary,” Whitcoff added.

Another U.S. “peace plan”

On March 25, White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt stated that the U.S. had conveyed a peace plan to Iran consisting of 15 points aimed at ending hostilities in the Middle East.

The main U.S. conditions include Iran’s abandonment of nuclear weapons development, the winding down of its missile program, and the unhindered passage of vessels through the Strait of Hormuz. In turn, Iran criticized the 15-point U.S. peace plan as “excessive” and put forward its own conditions for ending the war.
