Several key players and one debutant have dropped out of the list
The national team of Ukraine has finalized the list of players who will take the field in the semifinal playoff match for the 2026 World Cup qualification against Sweden. A total of 23 footballers have been included in the final squad of head coach Sergey Rebrov.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the official website of the UAF.

Who did not make the list
Compared to the previous call-up list, midfielder Boris Krushinsky has been left out of the squad for the match against the Swedes. Defender Yefim Konoplya and midfielder Ruslan Malinovsky will also miss the match, as both team leaders are serving suspensions due to an accumulation of yellow cards.
It is worth noting that due to injuries, Artem Dovbik, Alexander Zinchenko, Nikolai Matvienko, Taras Mikhavko, Maxim Taloverov, and Arseniy Batagov will not be able to assist the team at this stage.

- Goalkeepers: Anatoliy Trubin (“Benfica”), Dmytro Riznyk (“Shakhtar”), Ruslan Neshcheret (“Dynamo”)
- Defenders: Bohdan Mykhailichenko, Eduard Sarapiy (both – “Polesie”), Ilya Zabarnyi (PSG), Alexander Svatok (“Austin”), Valeriy Bondar (“Shakhtar”), Vitaliy Mykolenko (“Everton”), Alexander Tymchik (“Dynamo”).
- Midfielders: Nikolai Shaparenko, Alexander Pikhalenok, Nazar Voloshin (all – “Dynamo”), Yegor Yarmolyuk (“Brentford”), Ivan Kalyuzhny (“Metalist 1925”), Oleg Ocheretko (“Shakhtar”), Georgiy Sudakov (“Benfica”), Alexey Hutsulyak (“Polesie”), Viktor Tsygankov (“Girona”), Alexander Zubkov (“Trabzonspor”).
- Forwards: Vladislav Vanat (“Girona”), Roman Yaremchuk (“Lyon”), Matvey Ponomarenko (“Dynamo”).
When is the match
The decisive battle for a spot in the final of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers between Ukraine and Sweden will begin today, March 26, in Valencia, Spain. The starting whistle will blow at 21:45 Kyiv time.
The match will be broadcast live on the OTT platform MEGOGO with a subscription to “Optimal,” “Sport,” “Maximum,” or “MEGOPACK N+S.”
Additionally, the match will be shown for free on the “MEGOGO SPORT” channel in T2 and cable networks.
