This was reported to RBC-Ukraine by a source.

According to the publication’s interlocutor, during the congress, party members discussed changes to the charter as well as the priorities of the “Servant of the People” activities.
He specified that deputies were appointed to the party leader – first deputy speaker of the Rada Alexander Korniyenko.
The source also noted that a meeting between Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko and the leadership of the “Servant of the People” party will take place today.
Details from the Servant of the People press service
As noted by the party’s press service, the strategic priority of the party was defined as assistance to Ukrainian soldiers. It is planned that 120 million hryvnias of state funding will be allocated for the defense of Ukraine over the year.
“Assistance has already been provided for almost 5 million hryvnias. Dozens of requests from military units are in progress,” the Servant of the People added.
Another priority is working with temporarily occupied territories and supporting internally displaced persons.
The main decision of the congress was the adoption of a new version of the charter. A presidium of the party was created, which includes party leader Alexander Korniyenko, head of the political council David Arakhamia, and head of the national council of communities Alexander Zavitenovich, as well as newly elected deputies of the party leader.
“During the congress, an institute of deputies of the party leader was created,” the statement said.
The following personnel decisions were made:
- Vitaly Bezgin became the deputy for working with temporarily occupied territories, internally displaced persons, and the faction network;
- Arseniy Pushkarenko – deputy for party building;
- Vadim Halaychuk – deputy for international activities – international secretary.
What is known about the congress
Recall that earlier Ukrainian media, citing their own sources, reported that the “Servant of the People” congress was held because it was necessary to amend the party’s charter after the change of leadership.
It is noteworthy that after the congress, a meeting of Servant of the People deputies with government representatives will take place. Such a meeting was planned against the backdrop of the crisis situation in the Rada – there are not enough votes for the majority of initiatives being considered by the MPs.
In particular, within the presidential faction, voting for bills is no longer as active, even for those that are critically important for Ukraine’s external financing, as in the case of the initiative regarding the “tax on OLX”.
By the way, back in December of last year, the “Servant of the People” elected a new party leader. He became the first deputy speaker of the Rada Alexander Korniyenko. The previous party leader was Elena Shulyak.
