Ukrainian singer Tonya Matvienko shared her memories of her first marriage and explained why those relationships ultimately ended in divorce.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing an interview with the performer Alina Dorotyuk.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

According to the singer, he wanted her to stay at home and focus solely on the family and raising their child.<\/p>\n

Tonya Matvienko became a mother very early: she got pregnant at 16 and gave birth to her daughter Ulyana at 17. Now the girl is 27 years old and lives abroad.<\/p>\n

“I always wanted to sing. I studied at a music school, was a pianist, and sang in a choir,” shared Nina Mitrofanovna’s daughter.<\/p>\n

She also mentioned that the age difference with her first husband was seven years, and they met through a mutual circle of acquaintances.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the artist admitted that those relationships were difficult for her and had an abusive nature, although without physical violence.<\/p>\n

“I was very young then and didn\u2019t set him straight in time, meaning I didn\u2019t show my character. I felt very guilty, embarrassed that I was such a young mom, and wanted everything to be without scandals,” she explained.<\/p>\n

Despite the challenging period, Matvienko received support from her mother when she learned about her early pregnancy.<\/p>\n

“I decided that I wanted to be a mom. I don\u2019t see anything wrong with that. I have a wonderful daughter now; she is my friend. I think, why didn\u2019t I have another child back then,” the artist added.<\/p>\n

The marriage lasted for 10 years, but eventually, the couple separated. According to the singer, the main reason was that she no longer felt love.<\/p>\n

“I don\u2019t love him. For me, love is important. I should love my husband, be happy when I wake up, and go to bed with him. I fell out of love,” the performer confessed.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

What is known about Tonya Matvienko’s second marriage<\/p>\n

Tonya Matvienko met her current husband Arsen Mirzoyan on the project “Voice of the Country.”<\/p>\n

Initially, they had only a friendly relationship, as at that time the artist had a family.<\/p>\n

Later, Mirzoyan divorced, and in 2017, he and Matvienko officially married. The couple celebrated their wedding twice – in Thailand and in Dnipro.<\/p>\n

The spouses are raising their daughter Nina together. Additionally, Arsen Mirzoyan has two sons from a previous marriage.<\/p>\n
