The President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, even called Orb\u00e1n’s behavior “unacceptable.”<\/p>\n Furthermore, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, stated that the EU will provide Ukraine with a \u20ac90 billion loan “one way or another,” despite Hungary’s blockade.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Elections in Hungary<\/p>\n Recall that the Hungarian party “Tisza” achieved a decisive victory in the parliamentary elections on April 12, securing 138 out of 199 seats in parliament. Voter turnout was nearly 80% – a record for Hungary since the collapse of the socialist bloc.<\/p>\n Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orb\u00e1n acknowledged his defeat.
