As reported by RBC-Ukraine, this was stated by the head of the President’s Office, Kirill Budanov, in an interview with “Ukrinform”.<\/p>\n

Ukrainian long-range strikes on the Russian Federation occur daily and have a significant impact – yet Russians avoid public complaints.<\/p>\n This is explained quite simply: Russia does not want to demonstrate its own weakness and vulnerability, as this could (and already does) influence the negotiation processes. The Defense Forces’ strikes create very serious difficulties for the Russian Federation, which would undermine the Kremlin’s rhetoric.<\/p>\n “They won’t do it easily – because it means acknowledging their weakness. But it affects – and in their reports, they constantly point this out. This is a problem. Just as their strikes are a problem for us,” Budanov concluded.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Strikes on Russia and negotiations: what Budanov says<\/p>\n Recall that yesterday Budanov stated that strikes on the aggressor country’s oil terminals affect the negotiation process. For this reason, Ukraine will hear “a lot of new things” from the Russians in the next negotiations.<\/p>\n At the same time, he believes that peace negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow are moving towards reaching an agreement, and resolving the war in Ukraine may take some time.<\/p>\n Budanov also confirmed that against the backdrop of the fuel crisis, Western partners have approached Ukraine with a request to cease strikes on Russian oil terminals.
