Western partners have urged Ukraine to cease strikes on Russian oil terminals; however, Kyiv continues to act in its own national interests.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
This was stated by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, as reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing Ukrinform.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Why is this happening? You can also understand – it’s a pricing issue. But we have our own war,” Budanov emphasized.<\/p>\n He added that Ukraine has faced similar restrictions and remarks<\/strong> regarding the use of foreign weapons or equipment on Russian territory throughout the years of the full-scale invasion.<\/p>\n Prioritizing national interests<\/p>\n Despite the pressure, the Ukrainian side does not plan to abandon its strategy of destroying enemy infrastructure<\/strong> that supports the Russian army and budget.<\/p>\n “They can be understood; this is their truth, but there is also our truth and our national interest. And it is exactly as it is. We do not stop,” the head of the President’s Office concluded.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Consequences of attacks on Russian oil infrastructure<\/p>\n It is worth noting that recently, Ukrainian drones have systematically attacked energy facilities on the territory of the aggressor state. In particular, a series of strikes on Russian oil terminals in the Baltic has already caused the Kremlin losses of nearly one billion dollars just from lost export revenue.<\/p>\n Additionally, after the attack on April 5, “Nizhnegorodnefteorgsintez” – the fourth largest oil refinery in Russia, which processed 16 million tons of raw materials per year – ceased operations.<\/p>\n Furthermore, on the night of April 9, drones struck the “Krymskaya” station in the Krasnodar region, which is a strategic hub of the Russian oil pipeline system.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Source: rbc.ua +rel=\u201dnofollow\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The position of the partners is clear, but Ukraine has its own plan.
